I desperately need help. I have almost no information to give you in my search for my great grandparents, they were married on July 26, 1898 in OKTIBBEHA County, Mississippi, probably in Starksville. . They were Joe Harley Roberson and Alabama (BAMMA) Jones. Bamma would have been born about 1884 in Alabama. I am not certain of the name Joe Harley, either. He used his initials alot and on his marriage document, it was J. M. Roberson instead of J. H. Roberson. They had a son, Charles Henry Roberson/Robinson born July 3, 1900 in Starksville, OKTIBBEHA county. Another son was born Oct 5 1902 In Artesia, Lowndes County, Mississippi. J.H. or J.M. Roberson died of fever Dec 1902 or Jan 1903. Bamma remarried to George Sparks and they had a son, Sam Howard Sparks on April 2, 1907 in Mississippi. This family later moved to Pemiscot County, Missouri. If anyone, even thinks that they might know anything at all, please, please contact me.
