The descendants of Etheldred and Julia Ogletree Edwards and related families of Taliaferro Co., GA are planning a family gathering on the weekend of October 1st, 2nd and 3rd of 2009. Join us for a weekend of fun, history, heritage, tours and fellowship with extended family and friends.
The Browns descend from the Edwards’ family through their oldest daughter, Mary Elizabeth Edwards and her husband, John Franklin Brown who settled in Newton Co., MS. Their children were Ezekiel E., Julia E., James Thomas, William Bluford, Emma Z., Solon M., Sarah C., John T., Mollie, and Anna Belle Brown.
It is important for us to know the approximate number of people that will be attending. Meeting places and scheduling that will accommodate everyone will be based on the number of people responding.
