Can anyone give me any information about the Spruill family who lived in the Grenada/Duck Hill area in the late 1860's? My grandfather, Simpson S. (Sim) Spruill lived in Lafayette County, MS after his marriage to Nancy Jeffsonia (Jeffie) Eastep, but it is my understanding that his people lived in the Grenada area. I am not sure that he ever lived there, but I will appreciate any information as to the names of his parents and/or sisters and brothers.
