Andrew J. Taylor with Flinn's, 1900 Monroe Co. MS?

There was a 70 yr. old John Flinn (born May 1835)MS. MS. MS. listed on the 1900 Monroe Co. MS. census with wife Christine, age 65, born Apr. 1835 MS.MS.MS., and they are living with Andrew J. Taylor age 34, MS MS MS and wife Mary F. (Watley/Whatley), age 28 AL AL AL., and their 4 children.
Christine is shown by relation to be the mother of Andrew Taylor and John Flinn as step-father.
This doesn't seem to fit with the other records I'm finding. It appears Andrew is the son of GreenBerry Taylor and wife Margaret Phillips.
This census indicates that John Flynn and wife Christine have been married 20 years (c1880) and had 5 children with 2 still living. I did find a marriage record in Monroe Co. for J.L. Flyn to Miss C.A. Taylor, dated 11 Dec. 1879. However, I can't find John Flynn or Christine anywhere in 1880 nor any Taylor family with a daughter Christine/Chistina in 1870, nor a Taylor male with a wife named Christine/Christina before 1879.
Any help appreciated!
