Glenn Stanley Weaver, Sr., 48, of Amory, died Feb. 10, 1994 at his home. He was a lifelong resident of Monroe County. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army, having served in Vietnam. He was a member of Hatley Missionary Baptist Church and a member of the VFW. Services were Feb. 13 at the E.E. Pickle Funeral Home with burial in the New Hope Cemetery.
Survivors included his wife, Carol Miller Weaver; his mother, Hazel Hull Weaver of Smithville; one son, Glenn Stanley Weaver, Jr., of Mantachie; one daughter, Carol Mechelle Hunter of Smithville; two brothers, Hal J. Weaver of Amory and Wendell Weaver of Nesbit; one sister, Joy Weaver Campbell of Woodstock, Ga.; four grandchildren.
