Seeking info on the ancestors and descendants of James Jourdan. James married Sarah Gray and they had at least Martha Eugenia Jourdan and my ancestor William Madison Jourdan. William had several children, my ancestor, Rufus Austin Jourdan, Alvin Luther Jourdan, William Archie Jourdan, Victoria Jourdan married a Sandersen, Minnie Virginia “Vergie” Jourdan, Silla Jourdan and there were more daughters whose names I cannot recall right now. Any help will be appreciated. And I collect cousins so if you are family let me hear from you. If your family have had a long bitter battle about the spelling and pronouncing of the Jourdan name we might be family. My direct line spell their name as Jourdan but pronounce it as Gherden.
