James Brede, Monroe Co., MS
Posted by: Charles Carroll (ID *****9002) Date: January 23, 2011 at 08:41:10
  of 3902

I am trying to determine the marriages and death year for James Brede of Monroe Co., MS.
His 1st wife Eliza appears to have died before or around 1860. His 2nd wife Catherine has two additional children.

He is in the 1850 Monroe Co. Census with wife Eliza. Both were born in Connecticut.
He served in the 3rd Battalion, MS Infantry.
Monroe County Estate and Guardianship papers (B) list three files, #1356 concerning Willie & Millie Brede, #1384 concerning James W. & Martha Eliza (his children) and #1320 listed as for John J & W.

James had two children by 1st wife Eliza, James & Martha born c1851 & c1852. They survived him and were living in Connecticut attending school in 1860 and with his 2nd wife Catherine and her two children in 1870.

Any information on James Brede will be appreciated.
