Elsie Mae Pickle Lewis, 75, died June 29, 2009, at the Gilmore Memorial Regional Medical Center in Amory. She was born June 4, 1934, in Monroe County to Elgie and Ruby Camp Pickle. She married Loys Denver Lewis in 1958; he preceded her in death. She lived in Columbus and in the Amory area for the past 14 years. She worked in the garment industry and retired as a state school employee. She was a member of the First Assembly of God in Amory.
Services were at the E.E. Pickle Funeral Home Chapel in Amory with burial in the Pickle Cemetery.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; and a twin brother, Elton Ray Pickle.
