This was in the time frame of before the official surveying of the state line which was on February 9, 1821. Even after that the people still were not sure what state they were in. Into the mid and late 1800's, I have relatives that never moved from the original home places and sometimes were listed in Itawamba Co MS, Monroe Co Ms and Marion Co Al and Lamar Co Al. You might check in one of these counties. I live in Monroe Co so if I can be of help I would be glad to. Hope this helps.
