Baugh Plantation still exists. It is called Rena Lara Plantation, in the Sherard community, outside Clarksdale, Ms. John Oscar Baugh was the son of Thomas Martin Baugh and Harriet Swan. There were 12 children, one of whom was the Mayor of Memphis, 1857-1861. We are looking for Lewis Critcher Baugh and Franklin Baugh who were sons and our relatives. Thomas Martin and Harriet were from Giles County, Tn.
