I have a long list of relatives in Hinds and
Yazoo counties from the mid 1830s until now.
And would love anything you can find on any of them. My gggrandfather Jonathan Van Cleave
(1800-1885)from his first marriage,wife unknown had: Serena Jane m. William Barrow
1839 Hinds Co.;Stephen;Joseph;William;
Elizabeth;James Calvert m.Martha Holloman;
Nancy m. Isaac Rea 1844 Hinds Co.;Thomas
Volney m.Rachel Cresswell and Galen Norton
Van Cleave. In 1837 he married Elizabeth
Rowland Perkins widow of Samuel Perkins and
they had Melison Rowland;Robert Adrian;
Nathaniel Moore and Daniel Boone Van Cleave.
In 1857 they moved to Eden, Yazoo Co.
Elizabeth's children were: Pernecia,Penelope,
Martha and Samuel Pucket Perkins.
