Ammons of Beaumont, MS

I am looking for information on the Ammons family of Beaumont, MS.

All I know is Mattie Mae Ammons of Beaumont married James Louis Munson; they lived in Madisonville, LA and both had died by 1944. James was a victim of leprosy and had been a patient at the Carville Leper Colony in Carville, LA before escaping and moving the family to MS for a time. While in MS, they lived under an assumed name (Parker?).

Any information on Mattie or James would be appreciated!
