MS Vital Records -
Bureau of Vital Statistics was founded in 1912, so records from it would be available from that time forward. Other entities might have records before this; again, the Department of Archives & History:

ARK Vital Records -
ARK required birth & death registrations = 1914
When did ARK begin to issue birth & death certificates = 1914

Are there any restrictions to ordering these records??? Yes, we have eligibility requirements for each record type. Death records over 50 years old are open and do not have restrictions.
