Old Raspberry Cemetery is about 4 miles west of Walthall, Miss., off of Hays Road. It is located on the southside of the road in a grove of Pines Tree's, around this neglected cemetery are signs of large Cedar Tree's, If anyone has ever found, or ran across the little cemestery. I sure would like to know of its location, and gravestone's found there. It has been claimed that the Latham, Raspberry, and Murrah families were laid to rest on this sacrite ground.I beleive Lawrence Latham first wife Mary Polly "Smitherman" Latham was buried there in 1853, along with several infant children of Lawrence & Polly's were all possiably buried there. I'm sure this cemetery was probably named after Green Raspberry family. Catlett & Sarah "Hair" Murrah were also buried here about 1875/ 1880. Please feel free to write me, if you can help me.
