Robert Phillips/Philips b. abt 1807 Ms. living in Catahoula Parish Louisiana 1850. Married Penelope (Smith?? b. abt 1820 Ms.) abt. 1842. Their son Allen Phillips b. abt 1847 m. Ella Huffman. Penelope had 2 known sons prior to marrying Robert; John P. Smith b. 1840 and William b. 1837 La. Seeking name of John Pís father and maiden name for Penelope or (Nellie as shown on Allenís death certificate). Also, parentage of Robert Phillips. After 1850 Catahoula Parish census both Robert and Penelope disappeared from Catahoula Parish. Suspect Penelope died and cannot positively verify where Robert went. Robert and Nellie also had Elizabeth and Ellen who also disappeared after 1850 Catahoula Parish Census. Maybe married. Robert could have been married maybe in Ms.prior to marrying Nellie based on his age
