Thomas and Alfred Taylor

Manerva Bell Taylor was the mother of Thomas N. Taylor. The census I have found state that Thomas was born in Missouri. Manerva Bell was born in Alabama. Both were living in the household of Eliza Bell in Alcorn, Mississippi in the 1880 census. Thomas would have been born around 1851-1853. In the 1860 census he is listed in the home of his grandparents, David and Eliza Bell with his mother, Manerva (Manney) and a sister Ann E. who was about 10 years old. We are trying to find his father. Is it possible that his father is Alfred Taylor listed in the 1850 census in McNairy Tennessee with Minerva age 21? Does anyone have information about this Alfred? We have been helped so much on this forum and appreciate all who respond. Thanks so much, Craig Taylor
