Prestridge and Owens Families Amite or Pike Counties

I am trying to establish a link between the Owens families and Prestridge families in southwestern Mississippi in the 1820's through 1840's. Carolyne Prestridge Opry raised as her son William Beecher Owens (born 1841 or 43) in Jackson Parish, Louisiana. William B Owens was born in Pike County, Mississippi. Carolyn Prestridge and her family lived in Amite County, Mississippi for about 20 years before they moved on to Louisiana by 1850. Carolyn Prestridge married Joseph Opry around 1845. After Joseph Opry's death in 1868, Carolyne Prestridge married Antoine Fontenot in Louisiana in about 1870.
