Thank you very much for the information.I actually only had the first citation regarding the marriage.
I’m not sure about the connection with the second (1880 census of Tishomingo County) but I will check it out.
The 1900 Census of Memphis, Tennessee, is a direct hit.Bulah is my Aunt Bea, Ada is my grandmother and Edgar is Uncle Edgar. The only person missing is Emily, the oldest and she might have left the house at this time. She was Mimi to my sisters and me.I’m fortunate in that both lived long enough for me to know and remember both.In fact I was in my late teens with Mimi passed away.
Is there anything I can do for you?I don’t have a lot and if you think your Robinson’s are related to mine, I will gladly send copies of what I do have.
As part of the family lore, Bulah and Emily married well.Bulah married a man named David Peacock and Emily married a man named Scoles. Both of whom, along with Edgar eventually moved to Houston, Harris County, Texas. All are buried there.
My grandmother Ada Dell came to Dallas to study “business” and met my Glen Lawrence Corrie, from Lawrence County, Illinois, who was living with his older brother. They were married in Dallas and they soon moved to Abilene, Taylor County, Texas where he went in to the insurance business. My mother was born there, as was I while my father was serving in WWII.
Again, thank you very much.
