while doing a search for you I found that in 1860 they are with the Ruffin family using that info I went back to 1850 and found Nancy Brooks no child with her living in the
W D RUFFIN AND FAMILY HOUSEHOLD MY THINKING IS THAT THIS MIGHT BE NANCY'S FAMILY...maybe her maiden was Ruffin.
