My father died when I was 6. The little bit of family I can find dont want to talk about him or my family's past, so I am hoping I can put some pieces together from here.
My father a traveling muscian and a Kirby salesmen. Army Enlistment 1945, service no: 18153138. Service record may have burned in fire of 1973. Buried in ?Pumpkin Center, Springfield, Louisiana. He was also in the Louisiana foster care system as a child. Married my mother, Caroline Marie Heffler, Dec 1952 in Bay St. Louis, MS and divorced Nov 1968 in Harrison Co, MS. Four children to this marriage, Dennis, Debra, Penny, Michelle. He was married prior to my mother, but have no knowledge of that other than that fact.
