The spelling of the last name has changed numerous times over the years.

Here is what I have on my ggrandmother Matilda M. Chism b.8/5/1865 I do not know where as of yet possibly Itawamaba County, Miss. d. 7/9/1918. married James Robert Collier on 11/8/1891 in Itawamaba County, Miss. She does exist. I have seen a picture of there headstone in Mt. Zion/Tremont Cemetary.

She also had a brother names James H Chism b. 3/8/1856 d.2/26/1901. He married Sarah Francis Brown b. 8/16/1860 d. 9/7/1935.

That is all I have to go on for right now. I do know that Matilda and James Collier lived in Franklin County (Red Bay) Ala. James owned 160 acreas that now my cousins own.

Please e-mail directly if you have any information on these people at goodwomen14@aol.com
