That's the problem.He disappears in 1927.
I have been unable to locate anything after hi disappearance in 1927. Even though for estate purposes he was declared legally dead in Mississippi, rumor and speculation have him located in California from 1927 until his death abt 1980.
The death date comes from a notice that the Veterens Administration sent to Edith Hathorn Fortenberry Tupa (his first wife now deseased).This notice has been lostbut I am told it indicated to her that notice of his actual death was the only information that the Veterens Administration would give them at that time.
His daughter is just wanting to learn something about the man who was her father before she dies. She will be 80 this December.
