I am looking for information on Enoch Lankford (born SC abt 1799)who married Racheal (?McWilliams)(born NC abt 1820)and their children. They had 12 children. For the most part they lived in Tishomingo Co. MS in the mid to late 1800's. Nancy Lankford married William James in Tishomingo about 1865. William died in Prentiss Co. MS Apr. 1880, just before the census that year at age 36. I have found Nancy and Racheal living together with Nancy's children Robert Lee, J.A. (female) W. H. (William Henderson GGF) and Faedonia in 1880 Prentiss Co. Nancy may have remarried being young when William died because I have lost her after 1880. Robert Lee and William Henderson may have ran away are left home because of hard times before 1900. I feel that is my line Henderson death info has William James and Nancy Lankford listed and in 1880, William, Nancy, Robert Lee and W. H. are on the census Prentiss with Racheal Lankford. Both the Nancy and Racheal are list as widows and William shows on the census as dead.
