Ronald W. Shelton, 42, died Dec. 22, 2007, at Baptist Memorial Hospital-Desoto in Southaven. He was born Oct. 28, 1965, to the late Willie Lee Shelton and Martha Hampton. He was an employee of Coil Master in Moscow, Tenn., and a member of Everett Chapel M.B. Church.
Services were at Everett Chapel M.B. Church in Michigan City. Burial was in Jefferson Cemetery in Lamar. Foster and Son Funeral Home of Ripley was in charge.
Survivors included his fiancée, Gladys Glover of Holly Springs; two children, Brittany Shelton of Holly Springs and Jordan Wright of Moscow, Tenn.; four stepchildren, Cherry Walton, Roderick Glover, Hezekiah Walton and Jekiah Walton; his mother, Martha Shelton of Michigan City; brothers, James Shelton (Christi) of Memphis and Joe Shelton (Beatrice) of Michigan City; four sisters, Wilma Anthony and Willie Ann Hudson of Jackson, and Winnie Woodard and Phyllis Walls of Michigan City; three nieces, nine nephews, eight great-nieces and great-nephews; one aunt, Juanita Shelton of Memphis; a host of cousins.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Melvin Shelton, and three brothers-in-law, Joseph Anthony, Sammie Hudson and George Woodard.
