STAUTS/WHITEHEAD Families ~ Madison & Yazoo Co's.

I am researching the WHITEHEAD and STAUTS families who bought parcels of land in Mississippi's Yazoo and Madison Counties two successive times, in 1825 and in 1835. The sections they bought had adjoining property lines on both occasions. I believe their families also intermarried since some middle names are common in both families.

Joseph B. Whitehead Madison Co. Section 28 1826
William Stauts Madison Co. Section 34 1825 & 1826

Joseph B. Whitehead Yazoo Co. Section 14 1835
William Stauts Yazoo Co. Section 23 1835

Some members migrated through Louisiana and on into Shelby County, TX in the 1840's. I would appreciate any information you would share concerning either family. Thank you ...
