William M. Robertson was born in North Carolina in 1794, and can be found in Lowndes County MS in 1830 with a wife and three sons (the youngest of which, Gustavus Boone Robertson, is my GG grandfather). In 1840, the census has him as William M. "Robinson" in Winston County (probably the area formed from Lowndes County) with a wife and the two younger boys. In 1850, he was apparently a widower living with Gustavus and his wife Isabella in Winston County; he was still living with that family in Attala County Mississippi in 1860. He died in 1864 in Attala County.
I sure would like to connect with the other sons of William Robertson.
