Nataline Huckaby Smith, 80, died June 21, 2009, at the Sanctuary Hospice House in Tupelo. She was born July 12, 1928, in Lee County to Milton and Jewell Huckaby. She was a lifelong resident of Lee County and an active and faithful member of Camp Creek Baptist Church where she was a teacher in the children's Sunday School Department for more than 50 years.
Services were at Camp Creek Baptist Church with burial in the church cemetery. Waters Funeral Home of Baldwyn was in charge of the arrangements.
Survivors included a daughter, Kandye Bailey (Tony) of Guntown; two grandchildren, Mitch Bailey (Lori) of Pascagoula and Cassie Flanigan (Cory) of Hattiesburg; one great-granddaughter; one sister, Bobbie Donahue (Ray) of Guntown; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Mitchell Smith; her parents; and her brother, Gaston Huckaby.
