Debbie Lynn Barber Lindsey, 51, died May 18, 2009, at Baptist Memorial Hospital East in Memphis. She was born Sept. 19, 1957, in Tupelo to Charles M. “Pete” and Bertha Lee Barber. She was a graduate of Mooreville High School and Itawamba Junior College, and she attended Mississippi State University. She was employed by Lane Industries prior to becoming disabled. She was a member of East Main Church of Christ. She enjoyed playing tennis and horseback riding, and she loved her cats and dogs.
Services were at Lee Memorial Funeral Home Chapel with burial in Lee Memorial Park.
Survivors included her father, Charles M. “Pete” Barber of Mooreville; and one brother, Charles Ray (Sheila) Barber of Mooreville.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Bertha Barber; her grandparents, Samuel J. and Cleo Bishop, and John W. and Eula Barber; and a niece, Stacy Barber.
