i believe i may have some info that may be helpful. will purvis was my granny's grandfather., he married sara. they had a daughter named nancy i think who was my grandmother's mother or grandmother. either way she was a direct descendent and i can get the exacts to you if you need them. my mom has a copy of the book that kept record of the trial, hanging, and pardon of will purvis. my grandma was a cooper and then married a slade. they all grew up in lamar county. my email is johnnasmama@hotmail.com
