I am doing research on the Parker family. I have a Hugh Daniel McLauren, Sr. who married Permelia Ann Duke. Estimated date of marriage 1852/53. Believed to have married in Kemper Co., MS.
In 1860 census I found Hugh McLawrin age 34; wife Permelia age 23; dau. Martha age 6; Mary E. age 4 and Thomas Bell age 3.
Dau. Mary E. married Joseph H. Hazel/Hazle on 12 Dec 1875 in San Augustine, San Augustine Co., TX.
I am in need of Hugh Daniel McLauren's parents names (looks like you gave me that) and the names of his siblings. Also where was he born? When did he marry and where.
I have McLauren - McLawrin - McLaurin spellings - don't know which one is correct.
Hugh D. McLauren became a judge in San Augustine County.
