Searching for descendants of Hugh & Ann Stewart McLaurin who moved to Kemper County from Anson County, N.C. around 1808. Hugh was the son of Duncan & Catherine McLaurin who immigrated to North Carolina in 1788 from Scotland. Hugh was my 4th great grandfather. I think that Hugh died in Kemper County before 1810. I would like to hear from any one with information on this family.
