Am reseaching Samuel Kennedy, born about 1805, in South Carolina; and married Martha Jones, born about 1822, in Georgia. Thier son, James Sullivan Kennedy, born in Alabama, was listed in the 1880 census of Jasper County, MS.
Who were the parents of Samuel Kennedy, and where in South Carolina was he born? The family was in St. Clair County and Shelby County, Alabama, in the 1850s and 1860s, and at least one of the sons emigrated to Jasper County, MS.
