Geneva Camp Sullivan, 91, died Wednesday, Oct. 1, 2008, at her daughter’s home in Marion, Ark., after an extended illness. She was born Oct. 19, 1916, in Itawamba County to H.A. and Tester Leech Camp. She married Bert Sullivan in 1938; he died in 1986. She lived in Smithville for 30 years. She was a member of the Smithville United Methodist Church, where she was active in her choir. She enjoyed cooking and sewing.
Services were Oct. 4 at the E.E. Pickle Funeral Home Chapel in Smithville with burial in the Young Memorial Gardens.
Survivors included one daughter, Ann Swindle (Danny) of Marion, Ark.; one sister, Lucy Markham of Tremont; and one brother, Henry Camp Jr. of Florence, Ala.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 48 years; one brother, Clevis Camp; and two sisters, Irene Coker and Evele Wilson.
