Funeral services for Pvt. Aaron Yeilding, who gave his life in the services of his country while fighting in France on March 9, 1945, were held Nov. 11, 1948 at the Mantachie Baptist Church. Senter Funeral Home was in charge. He was 26 years old at the time of death. Pvt. Yeilding entered the services of his country on Sept. 8, 1944, and took his basic training at Camp Wheeler, Ga., in Company L of the 276th Infantry Regiment of the 70th Division.
Survivors included his wife; two sons, Jimmy and Jerry; mother and father, Mr. and Mrs. J. W. Yeilding; four brothers, Albert of Harsburg, Ark., Raymond, Junior and Frankie of Fulton; three sisters, Mrs. May Robinson, Mrs. Louise Holley, and Miss Dollie Yeilding, all of Fulton.
