Ersie Faye Walton, 77, died Jan. 25, 2004, at her home after a sudden illness. She was born June 4, 1926, to Jerry Marshall Parker and Roxie Viola Hopkins Parker.
She was a member of Dorsey Baptist Church.
Burial was in the Walton Cemetery.
Survivors include two daughters, Peggy Loden of Tampa, Fla., and Pat Burleson of Gulfport; four sons, Joe Walton and John F. Walton, both of Mantachie, Bill Walton of Nettleton and Mike Walton of Tremont; 11 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Jabe Washington Walton; her parents; and three grandchildren, David Burleson, Nicky Loden and Ryder Walton.
