James Thompson was born in Wake County, North Carolina about 1804 and later moved to Madison County, Alabama with his family. In later years, he bought property and moved to East Carroll Parish, Louisiana. He may also have lived in Issaquena County, Mississippi. I don't know who his wife was, but his known children were a son, William Henry and twin daughters, Mary Harrison and Martha Washington. Would like any information that you will share about this family. Thank you.
