It probably would have been in the Clarion-Ledger. Looking at their website, they do offer a "research" service as follows: ------------------------ The Clarion-Ledger Editorial Library (Jackson) Our primary purpose is to serve our reporters and editors. We are unable to function as a public library, however we may provide research to the general public on a fee-based basis. Our fees are: $50 per hour for the first hour or part thereof, and $25 per hour for each additional hour or part thereof. --------------------------------- Alternately, they have this on their website: To obtain a copy of The Clarion-Ledger within the past year, send .50 cents per copy for each daily edition or $1.50 for each Sunday edition, along with $5 for mailing, to: The Clarion-Ledger P.O. Box 40 Jackson MS 39205 Their number is (601) 961-7382. Of course, you'd have to take a guess or order several days worth of papers, but maybe you'll find it. They used to have online archives, but guess they got rid of that. The Eudora Welty library on State Street in Jackson may have copies as well. Hope this helps, Scott Notify Administrator about this message?
