I am aware of the 1805 deed from Andrew Hamilton & wife Jenny to the heirs of Samuel Higginbotham, deceased, including Clabourne Sandridge in right of his wife Jane. But as I have previously indicated, I have the estate papers of Samuel Higginbotham and Claiborne Sandidge and wife Jane did not receive a distributive share of the estate like his known children John S., Aaron, Blackley, George Green, Clary, Ann and Violette. This deed is of interest but is not proof that Claiborne and wife Jane were heirs of Samuel Higginbotham. In 1805 and 1806 in Elbert Co., GA Claiborn Sandidge owned land adjoining William Higginbotham.
