Lyman W. Anderson, WWII Paratrooper

Hello everyone, I am new to this place, so let me introduce myself a little bit...

My name is Christophe and I am a 41-year old french genealogist and non-professional history researcher, doing researches about the WWII US Army Paratroopers.

I am doing researches about a Parachute unit, the 509th Parachute Infantry Battalion, and am looking for a paratrooper named LYMAN W. ANDERSON.

From his partial military record, I know he was living in Covington County, MS and that he was born in Kentucky.

Using RootsWeb, I found a Lyman W. Anderson, born 22 Jun 1920 and who died 1 Feb 1989 in Collins, Covington Co., MS.

There are chances that this man was the paratrooper I am looking for, but I was wondering if anyone here could maybe help me to confirm this or something?

I can share the informations I have about him (military documents), of course.

I wish you all a nice day,

Christophe, from France.
