Does your LEE line have connections in Mississippi? My greatgreat grandmother was Lydia/Lidia Lee. She married a Goldman. Thomas Soloman Goldman, I believe. At one time they lived in the Seminary area of Covington County, MS. I have found names in a cemetery in Jones County that lead me to believe they were in Jones County. The line they entered on my history was my SMITH line. George Washington Smith married Christiana Goldman, the daughter of Lydia/Lidia and Thomas Soloman. Just curious. If in your search you ever come across a Louisa Prince who married, and this is hearsay, a Jordan then a Jones. She was on the Covington County Census in 1850 with parents Wm and Levenia.
Thanks for your correspondence. Perhaps we'll find proof for the FREEMANs really soon.
Take care
Sara Mohead
