Bob, I appreciate the corrections, and changed my files earlier from our correspondence. The reason I thought Isham Russell, Jr. died in 1849, was from the following source: ESTATE: Copiah Co., MS; Probate Court; Probate Dockets & Will Packets; Packet # 418. Page 1. To the Honorable E. G. Peyton, Jr., Chancellor of the County of Copiah etc. etc. The petition of Martha E. Kilpatrick and William A. Kilpatrick respectfully shows unto your honor that about the _______ day of _______ A. D. 1849 Isom Russell of the County of Copiah State of Mississippi departed this life being at the time of his death seized and possessed of a certain track of Land situated in said Copiah County Viz: the North East Quarter of Section Thirty-six of Township Two of Range Two West. That the said Isom Russell left surviving him the following named children and heirs at Law Viz: Mary Ellis wife of Reuben Ellis, *Woodward Russell*, your oratrix, Martha E. Kilpatrick, wife of William A. Kilpatrick, Caroline Phillips, wife of Tillman Phillips, John Russell and Sarah J. Nealy, wife of Isom Nealy & Elisha T. Russell.
