Hi Jeff,
I have a pic of possible Great Great Grandfather John Henry Moore who died in Coahoma County between 1906 and 1910. He is in his uniform. The picture only has Grandfather Moore on it and I am to assume since he was living with my Great Grandparents in Coahoma County Ms that it is John Henry Moore.I have records that I received from Jackson Ms that confirms that he did serve as a Conf Soldier and that he applied for a pension but they did not give any info on when his pension stopped so date of death is uncertain. My Great Uncle told me that he well remember the day he died in there home in Coahoma County Miss. John Henry died between 1906 and 1910 He filed for his pension in 1906 and is on the 1900 census but is not on the 1910 census. If, you would like a copy of the picture I will be glad to e-mail or snail mail you a copy. I would like to know if there will be copies of the book for sale and how to purchase one.
