We are researching the following HARDY family from Clay County, MS in 1910. By 1920
they had moved to neighboring Monroe County.

1920 CENSUS, Monroe County, Muldon District, ED 70, Sheet 8

Hardy, Henry Head B M 47 MS MS MS Farmer can't read or write
Malindy, wife F B 38 MS MS MS Laborer can't read or write
Margaret dau F B 10 MS MS MS
Henry Jr son M B 8 MS MS MS
Rebecca dau F B 6 MS MS MS
Frank son M B 4 3/12 MS MS MS

Clay County, Mississippi 1910 Census, North part of Beat 2
Hardy, Henry Head M B 25 mar 5 years Miss Miss Miss Farm worker
can't read or write
Hardy, Malinda wife F B 25 mar 5 years Miss Miss Miss Farm
worker can read & write
Census says 2 children 2 living, but only lists:
Hardy, Margaret daughter F B 11/12 Miss Miss Miss

This should be Malinda’s Mother, immediately above them:

Harris, Margareta Head F B 44 Widow 13 children, 6 living Miss Miss
Miss
Louis son 30
Rebecca daughter 23
Ellen daughter 17
Scot son 15
William H. grandson 6
Willie J grandson 5
