Seeking info. about the Descendant's of Adam & Louisa Colonsworth "Russell" Shaffer! They had three known Son's who settled in Texas; John Frederick Shaffer lived in McLennan & Runnels Co., Texas, he married Maggie Green. George Washington Shaffer married Lucy Caroline Bennett, and they settled in Wise Co., Tx. And Marcus Lafayette Shaffer settled in Ellis Co., Tx. Adam & Louisa had several daughter's Amanda Shaffer married James S. Williams, they had one known daughter; Louisa Williams. Amanda died young, and was buried in the Shaffer Cemetery, Siloam, Clay Co., Miss., along with her parent's!Martha J. Shaffer married Robert Cooper, need more info. about their children, may have also settled in Texas! Emily Parker Shaffer married Leonadius L. {Gus} Cooper, they also went to Texas, lived a while in Wise Co., Tx., and later settled in Chickasha, Grady Co., Oklahoma! Louisa Fredonia Shaffer married Thomas Littleton Schumpert, they moved to Itwambia Co., Miss. Thomas parent's were John Peter & Elizabeth "Shaffer" Schumpert, Elizabeth was a sister to John Frederick Shaffer, the father of Adam Shaffer! Mary Adeline Shaffer married William J.
