Looking for information on Julia Lula Quinn, born March 9, 1902 in Choctaw County, Mississippi. Do not know who her parents were and I am looking to find this information. I know that there were Quinns living in the Sturgis area and I believe they were off the Hugh/Peter Quin Lines. Julia had sister named Maude L. Quin who married Walter T. Kate/Cate/Tate. (It is believed to be Kate).
Julia died in December of 1969 in Jackson, Mississippi. She lived as a child of 8 with her sister in French Camp and is found on the 1910 Census.
She was married to Jesse Everett Sheffield whom I believe was born in Cedar Springs, Early County, Georgia in 1878/79.
