Daphne - My great grandmother was Ida Kite, and I suspect that the graves include her grandfather, Samuel C. Kite, and his wife Harriet Trammel Kite, as well as other children and slaves. They lived in Poplar CO, Choctaw CO, Mississippi, and to date, I don't have burial info on them. Have you had a response regarding this cemetery? I have seen photos of it, and it is now on private property (someone named Box) and quite overgrown. I heard there were about 175 graves there, and not just a few. Many are unmarked. But I haven't seen it myself. Please let me know what you found out. Thanks! Janie Botkin
