Hello,I am looking For any info on Nancy May Garrard b.Ky it has been passed down to me that she nancy had a son by a James Gray he is said to have been Choctaw he went to Choctaw Academy in Ky he was Confederate soldier they had my grandfather Walter Monroe Gray-Grey 1868 Springfield,Mo.I found him in Greene Co, 1870 CENSUS WITH A Mary E. Garrard at 1 yrs of age he was raised by Brown family of Ok William Henry Clay Brown step parent he was never adopted by brown family i have found a James Monroe Gray in Autuga Co.,Ala can someone help me my grandfather talked about ancient choctaw Bone pickers rituals he also went to Ft.Sills school he spoke NA only for first 5 yrs of life he still knew some words but they were Cherokee he lived to be 96 and died in Klamath Falls.Oregon 1963.
