Looking for information on the family of Martha (King) Redd and Wm. W. Redd in Choctaw County Ms. They married probably arounnd 1856 and he was killed in the war, probably with a unit from Alabama. Their were 2 Wm. W. Redds in Confed. service from Ala., so there is some confusion on which one was which. They had 3 known children, John Wesley Redd (December 8, 1858- Jan 8., 1938), Mary E. Redd, and Anna Redd.
After Wm's. death, she moved back to her father Axim King's home near Dido. Her sister Rhoda King Sutherland, was there also, another war widow. Around the end of the war Rhoda married George M. Vaughn, and Martha married John David Bradshaw.
From this second marriage of Martha's came Lula Bradshaw (married a Cotten), Sarah (married a Humpheries), Lizzy (married a Smith), Henry, and Nancy (married Samuel J. Keeton.
I'm primarily researching the King line, but would like to exchange info with any descendnts of these people.
