Jay: I just finished reading the lengthy material - actually a book - on the web about the grandchildren of Captain Isaac Williams, who formed companies in the War of 1812 and fought with Jackson. Do you think that the writer is misinformed, or do we have two Isaac Williams? I am sure that you have "straight-line" history, since Isaac was in your family. The children of this Isaac are listed, and Paul is not among them. This Isaac seems to go north before his death.

The rosters in the Tennessee Militia are printed in the book, but William R. is omitted.
