Searching for information on David Barber and family. He is listed on the 1870 census with wife, Sarah (possibly middle name of Elizabeth) with the following children:
Malinda age 11 born in Alabama (possible surname of Hilburn instead of Barber)
John age 8 born in Mississippi
William age 5 born in AL
James age 3
Margaret age 8/12
Any help with this family would be greatly appreciated. My line descends from Malinda who married Louis Brown Fuller. From old pictures I've seen, Malinda and her mother have quite a bit of Native American ancestry.
